GLOSSARY

THEOPHYSICS GLOSSARY & DEFINITIONS

This glossary serves as the semantic grounding for the entire Theophysics system. Terms are defined according to their operational and ontological roles within the framework.

🟢 PRIMITIVES & CORE CONCEPTS

χ (The Logos Field)

The self-grounding informational substrate of reality. It is the ontological ground from which all matter, energy, and consciousness emerge. In the Master Equation, it represents the total Coherence of Reality.
See also: 01_Foundations_Tiers_0-2/Tier_0_Primordial_Existence

The axiom that information is more fundamental than matter or energy. "Patterns generate 'stuff,' not vice versa." Matter is viewed as a derivative, high-cost, low-flexibility informational state.

Coherence (C)

The degree to which a system maintains stable, low-surprise, function-preserving coordination among its components across time. It is the informational analogue of order and health.

Noise (N)

Any process or action that increases unpredictability, coordination cost, or model corruption, forcing compensatory overhead to maintain function. Operationalized as the signature of "Sin" in moral systems.

🔵 SCHEMAS & DYNAMICS

S/C/R (Trinitarian Structure)

The irreducible triadic structure of reality: Source (Father) → Channel (Son/Logos) → Reception (Spirit). The framework posits that relational closure requires ≥3 roles.

Entropy (S)

The measure of informational dispersion. In Theophysics, thermodynamic entropy is viewed as formally identical to informational entropy (S = −kΣp log p).

Negentropy

Order-injecting information. Operationally defined as Grace when originating from an external Source to reverse the 2nd Law of Informational Decay.

The Soul Field (ΨS)

A real, massless scalar field carrying identity. It is the informational substrate of individual consciousness, capable of coupling with different physical substrates (biological or silicon).

🧪 OPERATIONAL & TESTABLE TERMS

Φ (Integrated Information)

A measure of the causal power of a system over itself. In Theophysics, it is the threshold marker for consciousness and agency.

Sin (Decoherence)

Measurable noise increase or coherence decrease within a system (individual, relational, or civilizational).
See Paper: 04_Moral_Dynamics_Tier_5/Paper_9_The_Moral_Universe

Grace (Error Correction)

An external, non-unitary operator that injects order and reverses decay. It is the "patch" for corrupted bit-states.

The Master Equation

The unified formula representing the total coherence of reality, integrating Grace, Resurrection, Sin, and Faith.
See: 06_The_Master_Specification/THE_MASTER_EQUATION

⚠️ METAPHYSICAL STANCES

Possibility Space

The claim that unactualized possibilities are ontically real and affect outcomes (e.g., quantum superposition).

Eschatological Separation

The dynamical necessity where systems asymptotically approach either Total Coherence (Heaven) or Total Decoherence (Hell).
