Seven Attacks Seven Counters

Seven Adversary Moves in Genesis 3, Seven Exact Structural Counter-Moves at the Cross

"The symmetry requirement of repair: a spiritual attack requires a spiritual counter, a physical attack requires a physical counter, an informational attack requires an informational counter. The Cross operates simultaneously across ALL SEVEN dimensions because the Fall damaged all seven."
Symmetric Repair Equation
i ∈ {1..7}:
Counter(i) Attack(i) = Repair(i)

Core Claim

The capstone of the GTQ series. Seven adversary moves in Genesis 3, seven exact structural counter-moves at the Cross. Each counter-move operates at the SAME LEVEL as the original attack. This is not coincidence. This is not post-hoc pattern matching. This is the symmetry requirement of repair.

The Symmetry Requirement
The repair must be symmetric to the damage. A spiritual-only atonement cannot repair physical death. A legal declaration cannot repair an informational corruption. The Cross operates simultaneously across ALL SEVEN dimensions because the Fall damaged all seven. This is why no other event in history — no philosophy, no legal code, no moral teaching — addresses all seven. The Cross is not one solution among many. It is the only structure that matches the damage at every level.

The Seven Attack-Counter Pairs

Each pair shown below. The attack (Genesis 3) is on the left. The counter-move (the Cross) is on the right. Note the structural level match in every case.

1
1 Information Distortion → Truth Incarnation
Genesis 3 Attack
Serpent distorts God's word. "Did God really say?" (Gen 3:1). The attack targets the information layer — corrupting the signal before the receiver can act on it.
Cross Counter-Move
The Word becomes flesh (John 1:14). The information source itself enters the channel. You cannot distort the message when the message IS the messenger. The counter operates at the informational level.
2
2 Boundary Violation → Voluntary Boundary Submission
Genesis 3 Attack
Eating from the forbidden tree violates the one boundary condition. The single constraint God placed on the system is breached. The boundary layer is broken.
Cross Counter-Move
Christ submits to every boundary — law, suffering, death — voluntarily (Phil 2:8). Where the first humans broke the boundary, the counter-move is total submission to every boundary. The counter operates at the boundary-condition level.
3
3 Autonomous Self-Exaltation → Self-Emptying (Kenosis)
Genesis 3 Attack
"You will be like God" (Gen 3:5). Attempt to elevate status through autonomy. The vector points upward — grasping for equality with the Creator through independent action.
Cross Counter-Move
Christ "did not consider equality with God something to be grasped" (Phil 2:6). Exact reversal of the vector. Where the attack grasps upward, the counter empties downward. Kenosis is the structural inverse of autonomous self-exaltation.
4
4 Knowledge Gained, Innocence Lost → Innocence Voluntarily Laid Down
Genesis 3 Attack
Illicit knowledge acquisition through forbidden measurement. "Their eyes were opened" (Gen 3:7). Knowledge gained at the cost of innocence. The measurement collapses the state irreversibly.
Cross Counter-Move
Christ, knowing all things (John 13:3), voluntarily submits to ignorance of the hour (Mark 13:32) and the experience of Godforsakenness (Matt 27:46). Where the first humans grasped for knowledge, the counter voluntarily surrenders it.
5
5 Physical Death Enters → Physical Death Absorbed and Reversed
Genesis 3 Attack
"You shall surely die" activates. Death enters the physical substrate. Entropy becomes the governing dynamic of the material world. This is substrate-level damage.
Cross Counter-Move
Physical death on the Cross, physical resurrection. Substrate-level entropy reversal. The counter is not spiritual only — it is physical. The empty tomb is the load-bearing wall. If the resurrection is not physical, this pair fails and the entire framework collapses.
6
6 Separation from God → God Experiences Separation
Genesis 3 Attack
Adam hides from God (Gen 3:8). The relational link between Creator and creature is severed. Humanity experiences separation from the source.
Cross Counter-Move
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matt 27:46). God experiences the separation FROM THE INSIDE. The counter is not observing separation from the outside — it is entering separation itself. The relational break is repaired by the one party who did not cause it voluntarily experiencing it.
7
7 Exile from Eden → Return Path Opened
Genesis 3 Attack
Cherubim block the way back (Gen 3:24). Permanent exile. The flaming sword turns every direction. There is no return to the garden by any human path.
Cross Counter-Move
Temple veil torn (Matt 27:51). Access restored. The cherubim were embroidered on the veil — the same guardians that barred the way in Genesis are the figures torn apart at the Cross. The exile is structurally reversed at the exact point of blockage.

Domain Specifications

Ξ
Domain A — The Attack
Genesis 3
Seven dimensions of damage. The serpent's strategy in Genesis 3 is not a single-vector attack. It operates across information (distorting God's word), boundary conditions (violating the one rule), volition (autonomous self-exaltation), epistemics (illicit knowledge acquisition), the physical substrate (death entering matter), relational structure (separation from God), and access (exile from the garden). Each layer of damage is distinct. Each requires its own repair.
Domain B — The Counter
The Cross
Seven dimensions of repair. The Cross is not a single mechanism. It is the simultaneous operation of seven structurally distinct counter-moves: incarnation (information repair), boundary submission (law fulfillment), kenosis (volitional reversal), voluntary ignorance (epistemic surrender), physical death and resurrection (substrate reversal), experienced Godforsakenness (relational repair from inside), and veil-tearing (access restoration). Each counter matches its attack at the same structural level.

Kill Conditions

This claim carries five active kill conditions. If any of the following are demonstrated, the isomorphism is demoted or destroyed:

  • KC-1: Asymmetric repair. If any of the seven pairs does NOT operate at the same structural level, the symmetric repair requirement fails and the framework collapses.
  • KC-2: Incomplete mapping. If the Cross can be shown to address fewer than seven dimensions, the mapping is incomplete and the seven-fold structure is forced.
  • KC-3: Non-uniqueness. If a non-crucifixion event addresses all seven dimensions at the same structural levels, the Cross is not unique and the isomorphism loses its force.
  • KC-4: Non-physical resurrection. If the Resurrection is shown to be non-physical, the physical substrate counter (pair 5) fails. This is the strongest kill condition. A spiritual-only resurrection leaves physical death unrepaired.
  • KC-5: Forced veil correspondence. If the veil-tearing is shown to NOT correspond to Eden-exile (i.e., the cherubim-on-the-veil connection is historically unfounded), then pair 7 is forced and the mapping drops to 6/7.
