In quantum mechanics, a system exists in a coherent superposition of eigenstates until a measurement event forces instantaneous, irreversible collapse into a single definite eigenvalue. The result then propagates non-locally to all entangled partners simultaneously.

In theology, divine truth is veiled (hidden in God before the appointed time), then revealed at the kairos moment — "the fullness of time" — in a manner described as once-for-all (ephapax), irreversible, and universal in scope across all nations and all time.

The structural parallel is not analogical decoration. It holds across the key invariants: pre-event multiplicity, a singular irreversible triggering event, post-event determinacy, and non-local reach.

If theological mysteries were reversible — that is, if a revealed truth could be re-hidden after revelation, returning to the mysterion state — the mapping breaks.
