Key features:

TESTS
Swap Test: Can you swap the Grace Function for any dynamic dark energy model?
Yes. Quintessence, k-essence, phantom energy, early dark energy, and interacting dark energy are all models where Lambda evolves with time. Every one of them modifies the Friedmann equation in a structurally similar way. The Grace Function G(t) is one specific functional form (exponential decay to asymptote), but it is not the unique dynamic dark energy model.
What distinguishes G(t) from quintessence:
- Quintessence is driven by a scalar field rolling down a potential. G(t) is specified by theological boundary conditions (maximal at creation, asymptotic to eternal constant).
- Quintessence has no consciousness coupling. G(t, Psi_collective) does.

The strongest part of this ISO: The identification of dark energy with sustaining grace is structurally resonant. Dark energy is:

- Dominant (68% of the energy budget)
- Mysterious (no agreed physical explanation)
- Sustaining (prevents gravitational collapse and heat death)
- Positive (cosmic acceleration, not deceleration)
These properties map cleanly to divine sustaining grace. This is the most compelling structural parallel in the ISO.
The weakest part of this ISO: The consciousness coupling G(t, Psi_collective). This is where the ISO crosses from speculative-but-structured to potentially unfalsifiable:
- How do you measure collective consciousness? The framework does not specify. Is it number of conscious beings? Total integrated information (Phi)? Something else? Without a measurement protocol, the coupling is unfalsifiable.
- What is the coupling strength? If it is small enough to be unmeasurable, the claim is scientifically vacuous. If it is large enough to be measurable, where are the data?
- How does this differ from "conscious universe" claims (Penrose-Hameroff Orch-OR, panpsychism, cosmopsychism)? The Theophysics version couples consciousness to EXPANSION RATE, which is more specific than generic "consciousness in physics" claims. But the specificity does not help if the coupling is unmeasurable.
What would substantially strengthen this ISO:
- Numerical computation showing that G(t) = G_0 e^(-lambda t) + G_inf actually fits BAO + CMB + SNe data with reasonable parameter values
- Demonstration that the Hubble tension is resolved specifically by the exponential transition form (not just by any dynamic dark energy)
