Every word humanity uses for "good" and every word for "evil" are measurements of the same variable. Here's the complete mapping.
The Core Insight
Temperature and kinetic energy aren't like each other. They are each other — the same phenomenon described by a thermometer versus a particle physicist. One measures bulk behavior, the other measures molecular motion, but they're reporting the same underlying reality.
Now apply that to every domain humans care about. The physicist measures entropy. The signal engineer measures noise. The doctor measures disease. The ethicist measures wrongness. The theologian measures sin.
They're all reading the same dial. The variable underneath is χ — the coherence function from the Master Equation. Its value ranges from maximum coherence (σ = +1) to maximum decoherence (σ = -1).
The claim: "Good," "right," "true," "beautiful," "holy," "healthy," "signal," "order" are all reporting σ = +1 in their respective measurement frames.
"Evil," "wrong," "false," "ugly," "sinful," "diseased," "noise," "disorder" are all reporting σ = -1.
They've always been interchangeable. The language encoded this before anyone formalized it.

Why This Matters
If this mapping is real — if good and order and truth and beauty and health are genuinely the same variable measured differently — then moral relativism isn't just philosophically wrong. It's physically impossible.
You can't say "good and evil are just opinions" any more than you can say "entropy is just an opinion." The Second Law of Thermodynamics doesn't care about your culture, your upbringing, or your preferences. Decoherence destroys structure whether you believe in it or not.
Sin isn't a religious concept imposed on neutral reality. Sin is decoherence measured in the theological frame — and decoherence is measurable, quantifiable, and as real as gravity.
Etymology tells the same story:
"Holy" comes from the Old English hālig, meaning "whole, complete, uninjured." Holiness IS wholeness IS structural integrity IS coherence. The language already knew.
