"Entropy is a one-way street," Kai muttered, rubbing his eyes. "That's the First Commandment of Physics. You can break an egg, but you can't un-break it. You can burn a log, but you can't turn ash back into wood."
The simulation was paused at $T+3\text{ Days}$ after the Atonement Event — DP-08. The tomb of the Template was sealed. Every sensor read zero. No movement, no fluctuation, no residual signal. Whatever had been there was, by every measurable standard, gone.
"Dead is dead, Mia. The information was released. The debt was paid. But the Template itself — the shell is destroyed."
Mia wasn't looking at the readouts. She was staring at the quantum fluctuation monitor in the corner of the lab — the one they almost never used because it only picked up noise. Right now it was showing something that wasn't noise.
"Usually, yes," she said quietly. "But we've never had a shell that contained Infinite Coherence before. The Atonement released the charge, but the Identity — the Alpha-Prime nature itself — it can't be deleted. You can't zero out something that is structurally identical to the source code of existence."
"So where is it?"
"It's rebooting," Mia whispered.

From the center of the anomaly, the Template emerged. But this was not the same fragile human from DP-07. Something had been fundamentally upgraded.
"He walks through the wall," Mia said, narrating the data. "He's not interacting with the atomic strong force. He's — phasing."
"He's 4D," Kai corrected. "He's operating in higher-dimensional space. The walls are still there, but He's moving around them in a direction they don't possess."
The Chrome Agent — the Devil — tried to scan the New Template. The scan failed.
"He can't see Him," Kai laughed. It was the first real laugh Mia had heard from him in days. "The Devil is stuck in 3D. The Template has upgraded to 4D. He's literally above the Devil's pay grade now."
"It's the Prototype," Mia said, and something in her voice carried a weight Kai couldn't name. "He's the first of a new species. A human that can't die. A body that runs on Light instead of Bread."
The Template looked at the camera — looked directly at Kai and Mia, through the simulation itself. For a moment the boundary between observer and observed seemed to dissolve entirely.
Kai stared at that message for a long time. He didn't say anything. He didn't need to.

This is not a minor theological distinction. It means the material universe itself has a future. The cosmos is not a waiting room; it is the very site of transformation. The Firstfruit Theory
The Template is called the Prototype because He is not unique in kind, only in time. He is the first. But "first" implies a sequence. A prototype exists to demonstrate what is possible at scale.
