Approximation validity

Observational equivalence: The paper acknowledges that “demonic decoherence” and “environmental decoherence” may be observationally identical. This is the paper’s central weakness: if two explanations predict identical observations, the simpler one (environmental noise) wins by Occam’s razor.

Load-Bearing Claims

Decoherence has identifiable sources. Quantum decoherence is real and measurable. If all decoherence is fully explained by environmental noise without any anomalous, targeted, or information-bearing patterns, the “adversary operator” hypothesis has no evidential basis.

Spiritual entities operate via physical mechanisms. If the framework claims demons act through measurable decoherence, those measurements must show patterns distinguishable from random noise. If no distinguishable pattern exists, the claim is empirically empty.

~ Suggestive Claims

Negative coupling constants as adversary signature. The mathematical formalism (negative κ) is internally consistent, but negative coupling could describe any destructive process without requiring an intentional agent. The jump from “destructive” to “malicious” is interpretive.

Addiction and trauma as decoherence events. These are real neurological phenomena with measurable coherence loss. But labeling their cause as “principalities” adds a theological interpretation to phenomena that neuroscience already explains mechanistically.

Got Carried Away

“Demons operate as decoherence agents with negative coupling constants.” This is the paper’s boldest claim and its greatest overreach. The physics of decoherence is well-understood without requiring demonic agents. The paper essentially names standard physics processes as spiritual warfare, which is a theological interpretation presented as physics.
